Tim Taylor | An Appreciation of Tom Petty

The first concert I ever took my son to was a Tom Petty show. I figured that was a life-long gift in the for form of an enviable answer to the question, “What was your first concert?”. Plus, Tom Petty was one of his favorites even at age 10.
If I’ve done anything right as a parent, it was exposing my kids to great music at an early age and they’ve paid me back by developing a love and appreciation for the classics.
This reflection on Tom Petty by Patterson Hood, founding member of the Drive-by Truckers, will give you something to smile about.
