Don’t Complain About Charter Schools, Compete With Them

Rather than simply accepting the divisive polarity between traditional district schools and public charter schools, Ramanthan points out some of the merits and drawbacks on both sides of the divide. He calls out the importance of new thinking concerning funding, programming, transportation, and parental engagement to drive the system—and the adults working within it—to evolve and better serve children.
